The Kidderminster Harriers supporters team were formed in 2001 by a group of Harriers fans with the intention to;

- Improve relations with opposing teams.
- Build a community of close knit Harriers fans.
- Increase away support.
- Have fun in the process.

A side was formed and played its first match against Shrewsbury Town on the 18th September 2001 and since then the team has gone from strength to strength playing games both home and away. The team have travelled all over the country from as far north as Darlington to as far south as Torquay with players of all ages and abilities welcome. Many different players have worn the supporters shirt such as former players Bo Henrikson, Ian Foster, Mark Yates and Neil Howarth but the core of the squad remains the same since the start.

In 2003 a supporters trust was set up by fellow Harriers fans called the Kidderminster Harriers Independant Supporters Trust (KHIST) with the aim of establishing a link between the board and supporters and to also help raise funds for the club.

Following the success of the supporters side a team was formed in the Kidderminster and District Sunday League in 2003 who along with the supporters side play under the banner of KHIST. Harriers Trust now play in the Premier Division of the Kidderminster league following three promotions in four seasons and due to this success a reserve side was formed in division six for the 2007/8 season and now play in Division Four.

The supporters side continue to win more games than they lose and we have made many friends along the way with fellow and opposition fans, although since relegation from the football league it has been harder to arrange games. Many players have made the transition from the supporters side to the sunday team and vice versa.

The team has been managed by David Pountney since August 2007. However previous managers Adie Bloomer, Ian Danby, Dave Williams and Pete Lewis must also take a great deal of credit for where we are today.

Hopefully in the future we will continue to add to the 64 DIFFERENT SIDES we have already met and have many more memorable away trips and travel many more miles for the love of our football team.

At the end of the 2007/8 SEASON the annual game against the Harriers Trust sunday side was played at Aggborough Stadium for the first time which was a fanatastic experiance. This was followed in MAY 2009 with two games on the Aggborough pitch against Oxford and Halifax supporters which raised £1000 for KHFC.

At the start of the 2008/9 season the fans team joined the IFA national supporters league. Although concerned by the prospect of turning the fans games too competitve the move turned out to be a good one with games against plenty of new opposition culminating in the end of season weekend tournament in Leeds. In our debut season KHIST finished 11th out of 87 teams and reached the quarter finals of World Net.

Some of the many ways in which we have supported our club in recent years are ;

- Increase interest and the support of Kidderminster Harriers, especially away support by running travel to most games.

- Buy excess kit off the club to wear throughout our season.

- Player sponsorship of Luke Jones for the 2008/9 season.
- Player sponsorship of Liam Dolman for 2009/10 season.

- Holding our annual end of season presentation evenings up the Aggborough Suite as well as promoting use of the facilities.

- Representing Kidderminster Harriers at national tournaments such as World Net 2008 and building links with opposition clubs.

- In September 2008 and March 2009 the fans team made donations to the club to help with covering the costs of players wages, scouting and travel costs for the forthcoming season. Harriers manager Mark Yates said 'Myself and my staff are very grateful for these donations'  FULL ARTICLE

- At the end of the 2008/9 season the fans team played two games at Aggborough Stadium and raised £1000 which was donated to KHFC.

We welcome ALL Harriers supporters of ALL abilities and age.

By playing football WE can help OUR club by raising vital funds and generate more interest in our local side.
