IFA TEAM OF THE SEASON
2009/2010

The KHIST fans team rounded off another succesful season with news that they were awarded the ‘IFA Supporters Team of the 2009/10 Season’

Harriers compete in the Internet Football Association (IFA) against other supporters teams from throughout Britain on most mornings before the KHFC afternoon fixture. The league comprises of 80 teams with each side voting for their team of the season. The prestigous award is not awarded solely for footballing ability (thank god!) but for the friendliness, organisation and general reputation. The KHIST side become the first non league side to win the award and will recieve the award from previous winners West Ham United.

Joint Managers David Pountney and Mark Connolly picked up the award at the national supporters tournament up in Leeds. KHIST were represented by two sides in the two day event as over 80 teams compete in the World Net Supporters Tournament. Over 30 KHFC supporters converged on Yorkshire.

Player of the season Chris Lacey, Brett Caufield and Lewis Pountney also represented England in the annual international against Scotland on the Friday evening.
