Kidderminster Harriers Supporters Team

The Harriers fans fell to their heaviest defeat of the season with 5-0 loss at the hands of The Coventry City Fans team. In the blazing heat of the Cookley sunshine the home side failed from the offset to keep posession for large periods and were left to rue sloppy defending. The game got off to the worst possible start for the Harriers when a Coventry player was given time and space to fire what initially looked like a soft shot which eluded everyone to somehow find its way past the home keeper. Coventry soon settled into the game, while a lacklustre Kiddy never really threatened. Sean Merrywether did see his shot rebound off the post after a quickly taken free-kick wasnt dealt with by the coventry back line but that was the closest the Harriers were to come to threatening the score sheet. More sloppy defending and individual errors followed and at half time the Harriers went in 3-0 down.

With 9 subtitutes to use, the second half started in a slightly more positive way although the game did become disjointed as the rolling subs continued. Alex Withers was the only player to show any fight in the team but even he couldnt stop the rot and more goals followed to end a pretty miserable day for the Harriers. Not taking anything away from Coventry who were a decent, well organised side but unfortunatley the Harriers simply couldnt match their opponents work rate.
